La influencia de las apuntaciones lexicográficas (1907-1909) de Miguel Luis Amunátegui en el diccionario académico

El presente estudio se centra en las Apuntaciones lexicográficas (1907-1909) de Miguel Luis de Amunátegui; una obra que se puede catalogar como crítica lexicográfica. En ella, se ofrecen comentarios y observaciones sobre algunas voces ausentes o mal tratadas en el diccionario de la Academia, con la esperanza de que la Corporación considere estas apreciaciones e incorpore los cambios a su diccionario. Nuestro objetivo es conocer la influencia que tuvo este autor en la obra académica. Para ello, en primer lugar, describimos y analizamos estas propuestas de mejora y, en segundo lugar, comprobamos en qué medida fueron incorporadas a las ediciones del DRAE posteriores a la aparición de la obra. De este modo, se busca resaltar la importancia de la crítica lexicográfica como un material esencial para el estudio histórico de la lexicografía. En este sentido, la obra de Amunátegui constituye una fuente historiográfica valiosa para comprender el desarrollo de la técnica lexicográfica y su análisis no solo revela las preocupaciones y desafíos específicos de la lexicografía de la época, sino que también subraya la interacción que se establece entre los especialistas y la Academia en la construcción de su diccionario. Este enfoque proporciona una visión contextualizada de la evolución de la lexicografía española en los albores del siglo XX y enfatiza la crítica de diccionarios como impulsora de cambio y perfeccionamiento en la técnica lexicográfica.

The Influence of Miguel Luis Amunátegui's Apuntaciones lexicográficas (1907-1909) on the Academic Dictionary
This study focuses on Miguel Luis de Amunátegui's Apuntaciones lexicográficas (1907-1909), a work that can be classified as lexicographical criticism. It offers comments and observations on some entries that are absent or poorly treated in the Academy's dictionary (DRAE), in the hope that the Real Academia de la Lengua Española will consider these assessments and incorporate the changes into its dictionary. Our objective is to understand the influence this author had on the Academy's work. To this end, these proposals for improvement will first be described and analysed and then the extent to which they were incorporated into editions of the DRAE published after the work appeared will be examined. In this way, the study will seek to highlight the importance of lexicographical criticism as essential material for the historical study of lexicography. In this sense, Amunátegui's work is a valuable historiographical source for understanding the development of lexicographical technique, and its analysis not only reveals the specific concerns and challenges of lexicography at the time, but also highlights the interaction between specialists and the Academy in the construction of its dictionary. This approach provides a contextualised view of the evolution of Spanish lexicography at the dawn of the 20th century and emphasises dictionary criticism as a driver of change and improvement in lexicographical technique.
