Fases 1 y 2 del Método de Abordajes Lingüísticos Convergentes para el ACD con asistencia de NVIVO: Propuesta desde el análisis lingüístico-discursivo

Este trabajo presenta una propuesta para realizar investigaciones que aporten datos lingüístico-discursivos concretos sobre los cuales sostener reflexiones sociales e interpretaciones críticas. Su paradigma es interpretativista y su marco teórico es el Análisis Crítico del Discurso (ACD). En consecuencia, la propuesta se cimienta en una metodología predominantemente inductiva y cualitativa con incorporación de triangulación de datos. Sustancialmente, se trata de la combinación de dos programas de software para examinar situaciones de conflicto social, de vulneración de derechos y de exclusión desde y a partir de los discursos asociados a ellas, tal como resulta de interés para el ACD. Los programas de software son NVivo y Excel. NVivo se utiliza para la primera etapa. En este sentido, se considera que asiste el análisis. Excel fue adaptado a fines lingüístico-discursivos para implementar el Método de Abordajes Lingüísticos Convergentes (MALC), en el cual consiste la segunda etapa. El MALC se origina en el Método Sincrónico-Diacrónico de Análisis Lingüístico de Textos y lo profundiza. Para ello, conjuga diferentes abordajes discursivos distribuidos en tres fases con sus respectivas operaciones analíticas. Este trabajo enfatiza las fases primera y segunda. La propuesta, [NVivo + MALC], es ilustrada mediante los resultados del estudio de un corpus, que forma parte de una investigación sobre los derechos y la justicia, para dar cuenta: 1) de que permite trabajar con corpus amplios (dentro del contexto de estudios de caso) y 2) de cómo posibilita el análisis cualitativo profundo y detallado. Finalmente, para concluir, se sintetizan ventajas, desventajas y desafíos futuros.

Phases 1 and 2 - Method of Convergent Linguistic Approaches for CDA with NVIVO assistance: a proposal from linguistic-discursive analysis
This work presents a proposal for conducting research that contributes concrete linguistic-discursive data to support social reflections and critical interpretations. Its paradigm is interpretative, and its theoretical framework is Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). Consequently, the proposal is grounded in a predominantly inductive and qualitative methodology with the incorporation of data triangulation. Essentially, it involves the combination of two software tools to examine situations of social conflict, violations of rights, and exclusion through and within the associated discourses, as of interest to CDA. The software tools used are NVivo and Excel. NVivo is used for the initial stage. In this regard, it is considered to assist in the analysis. Excel has been adapted for linguistic-discursive purposes to implement the Convergent Linguistic Approaches Method (CLAM), which constitutes the second stage. CLAM begins from the Synchronic-Diachronic Method for the Linguistic Analysis of Texts and develops it further. In order to achieve this, CLAM integrates different discursive approaches distributed across three phases with their respective analytical operations. This work emphasises the first and second phases. The proposal [NVivo + CLAM] is illustrated through the results of a corpus study that is part of research on rights and justice, aiming to demonstrate: 1) its ability to work with extensive corpora (within the context of case studies), and 2) the way it makes possible deep and detailed qualitative analysis. Finally, to conclude, the paper synthesises the advantages, disadvantages, and future challenges.
